On July 24, 2025, Healing Home Group, Inc. reached an incredible milestone — we are officially recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This is more than just a change in status; it’s a leap forward in our mission to provide safe, supportive, and compassionate housing for burn survivors and their families.
What This Means for Our Community
With our new 501(c)(3) designation:
-
All donations to Healing Home Group, Inc. are tax-deductible.
-
We can apply for grants and funding opportunities that were previously out of reach.
-
We can expand our programs and partnerships to serve more survivors and their loved ones.
Why This Matters
When a burn survivor leaves the hospital, the journey is far from over. Many face overwhelming challenges — from finding a safe place to stay to navigating the emotional toll of recovery. Healing Home Group exists to bridge that gap, offering a place to Rest. Rebuild. Rise.
Your support helps us create a healing environment where survivors can focus on recovery without the fear of being without a home or resources.
How We Got Here
The road to becoming a nonprofit has been a labor of love, driven by personal experience and the belief that no survivor should face recovery alone. We’ve built relationships with hospitals, fire departments, and community partners who share our vision. Achieving 501(c)(3) status is a testament to the support and encouragement we’ve received along the way.
What’s Next
Our next steps include:
-
Launching new fundraising initiatives to support housing and resource programs.
-
Expanding our partnerships with hospitals and first responders.
-
Developing long-term plans for a dedicated Healing Home facility in Colorado.
