Written by Healing Home Group’s founder, Corey Halstead, the anthem emerged from the depths of his personal journey. After surviving a car fire in April 2024 that left burns over 50% of his body, Corey turned pain into purpose—and lyrics into light.

“I’ve walked through fire just to find my name / Carried these scars but never shame…”

From the very first verse, the song delivers raw honesty and hard-earned hope. It tells the story of every survivor who has faced the mirror, the hospital bed, the doubt—and kept going anyway.

“This body’s been through war / But my spirit? So much more…”

Every scar’s a crown, every tear a wing
From ashes I rose, through every flame
